About Steven O. Anderson, MD Steven O. Anderson, M.D. is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist. He joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2018 and sees patients in Ames and Fort Dodge. Practicing ophthalmology for over 20 years, Dr. Anderson has a wealth of experience in comprehensive ophthalmology. His specialties include cataract surgery including complex cataract cases, pterygium surgery and medical and surgical glaucoma management. Dr. Anderson graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and went on to earn his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School. He graduated with honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
