Welcome to Southern Lakes German Shepherds, breeders of European Imported German Shepherds located in Alabama. We operate strictly by appointment only to ensure every family receives a safe, private, and personalized experience when meeting our dogs. Our program is led by Butch Collins, who brings 25 years of law enforcement experience, including 20 years as Police Chief. Throughout his career, Butch developed a deep respect and love for German Shepherds—admiring their intelligence, loyalty, working ability, and protective nature.
