Description
She received her Masters of Nursing Practice degree and her Bachelors of Nursing degrees from Quinnipiac University. Prior to joining the Trinity Health of New England neurology team, Gena served as an APRN at Yale New Haven Hospital providing direct patient care within the inpatient and outpatient Neurology Stroke Center. Gena provides direct patient care focusing on neurological examinations and treatment plans. She is able to provide risk assessment and education with neurological patients. In addition, she can review advanced pharmacology management and medication, as well as basic electrocardiography, echocardiogram and radiography principles, specifically MRI Brain.
