Leonard Cohen, MD was born June 1955 in South Africa. He received his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand 1973-1978. Military service from 1979-1981. Neurology training and boards 1980-1985. Private practice as a neurologist in South Africa from 1985-1995. He emigrated to the United States in 1995 and repeated residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital from 1995-1998. Dr. Cohen is board certified in the USA from 1998 to the present. Private practice in Aventura from 1998 to present. Married for 38 years to Melanie. Three wonderful children.
