Description
DOT SAP Program The SAP Program Return-to-Duty Process allows the substance abuse professional to assess the extent of an employee's substance use. This evaluation includes a thorough review of the employee's substance use history, current situation, and any contributing factors. Based on these findings, SAP develops a customized treatment plan tailored to the employees' needs. Treatment options may include inpatient or outpatient programs, counseling, participation in support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous, or educational courses that bring awareness to substance use.
