Dr. Barathi Sivasailam has been interested in science since she was young, particularly biology. She has always been amazed by the human body and its inner workings, and she wanted a career that combined her academic interests with her passion for working with people. She grew up watching her mother, who is a physician, touch so many lives in a positive way – medicine was the perfect career for her.
