In the US alone, there are over 15 million people currently diagnosed with AMD and seeking improved treatment options, with another million people being newly diagnosed annually. There is a class of nutraceuticals on the market developed based on the AREDS clinical trial protocols that contain vitamins, several minerals, and lutein.
